THE COUNTRY ISSUE IS OUT NOW!

THE CREEM AFTER PARTY

As part of our No New York, No L.A. issue, we made it our mission to sniff out all the scenes and all the loudmouthed local hooligans worth knowing from sea to shining sea. That’s why, when we were called to host an after-party for Noise Pop’s annual San Francisco fest, we knew exactly which loudmouthed local hooligans to call.

THE CREEM AFTER PARTY

Spiritual Cramp’s San Francisco encore

As part of our No New York, No L.A. issue, we made it our mission to sniff out all the scenes and all the loudmouthed local hooligans worth knowing from sea to shining sea. That’s why, when we were called to host an after-party for Noise Pop’s annual San Francisco fest, we knew exactly which loudmouthed local hooligans to call. Spiritual Cramp brought their snarling punk swagger and absolutely unhinged live show to the Kilowatt Bar back in March, blasting through hook-laden tracks off their self-titled LP for a salivating hometown audience. Crowds were surfed, beers were spilled, tambourines were destroyed, and the party gods were pleased. San Francisco may be a lonely town, but for one night, we were all connected (no, literally because the show was beyond sold-out and it was nutz-to-buttz up in there). Thanks again to Slane, Noise Pop, and our friends at Kilowatt Bar, and most importantly thank YOU, San Franciscans, for coming out and raising hell. For those who couldn’t make it, please stop yelling at us! There will be another CREEM show right around the corner, so follow us @creemmag for the latest deets.
