MOST DARING FEAT: Huey once told a Los Angoles audience that he hated their city, then narrowly saved his skin by launching into a raucous version of “I Love L.A.” ;
FIRST BAND: Before forming the News, Huey released two albums in 1977 with a band named Clover.
