If you’re even peripherally tuned in to the hardcore punk scene, chances are you’ve seen The Clip. It’s a scene like any other: A hardcore band is playing an oppressively lit room in Nowheresville, USA, and a little white guy is getting his grumpies out in the pit. But this particular wee fella (of maybe 45 years of age) seems to zero in on a kid at the edge of the pit, against a wall. If you’re on the edge of the pit, you can expect to get pushed around, but this crosses a line. Buddy starts swinging on the teen, throwing hooks like they’re in the fucking ring together.

Basically, it’s a video of someone assaulting a younger scene member, and the most insufferable hardcore guys you know are on Reddit/Hardcore subreddit defending this unsolicited beatdown (and, obviously, their right to deliver similar beatdowns to people smaller and weaker than them).
