The Science of CROWD KILLING

A peer-reviewed study in getting your teeth kicked in.

If you’re even peripherally tuned in to the hardcore punk scene, chances are you’ve seen The Clip. It’s a scene like any other: A hardcore band is playing an oppressively lit room in Nowheresville, USA, and a little white guy is getting his grumpies out in the pit. But this particular wee fella (of maybe 45 years of age) seems to zero in on a kid at the edge of the pit, against a wall. If you’re on the edge of the pit, you can expect to get pushed around, but this crosses a line. Buddy starts swinging on the teen, throwing hooks like they’re in the fucking ring together.

Basically, it’s a video of someone assaulting a younger scene member, and the most insufferable hardcore guys you know are on Reddit/Hardcore subreddit defending this unsolicited beatdown (and, obviously, their right to deliver similar beatdowns to people smaller and weaker than them). Welcome to the fun and very serious world of crowdkilling!
