Here we have the always glamorous Riki, shot at the Port of Los Angeles in blue-collar San Pedro (or PEED-DROW, as CREEM’s favorite bassist Mike Watt calls it). This chanteuse is usually crooning in an impeccably sourced/tailored outfit built for the stage, capturing our hearts and kicking out only the illest of sexy electro-pop/freestyle/goth jams. But when she’s not slithering around and making us all fall in love, she’s just a regular girl (rock stars are people too!) crushing a simplified 'fit of some jeans and a tank. We’re glad we could get this shooting star to come down to earth and slum it with us for a little bit. Lord knows we can’t all look this good in shitty loungewear. Unless you’re into unwashed pajama pants and a threadbare Smiths tee. If so, holler at ya boy—howdy, that is.
