CREEM

They said it couldn’t be done, but we ignored them. We knew, in our innate wisdom, that people wanted a poster book—but not just any poster book. We knew it had to be jam-packed with the mightiest of metal legends and splendid, never-before-seen pictures of the greats of rock. We knew it had to have important info, like album titles and stuff. Most importantly, we knew it had to cross all the lines o’ metal and thus appeal to everyone in the world, including your mom.

So we put it together and here it is: MASTERS OF METAL. So profoundly cool, so conceptually perfect, that we’re happy you’re buying several copies to enjoy all the wonderful photos herein. And that days from now, you’ll realize that a couple more copies would be a dandy idea. And that finally, as you see MASTERS OF METAL disappearing from the newsstand, you’ll flip out and steal the rest of ’em! Then they’ll send you to jail, possibly for years, after which your life will be ruined.

But it’ll be worth it. Honest.
