Striking out on his own. Dave got together a hot combo to back him—Steve Vai on guitar, Billy Sheehan on bass and Greg Bissonette on drums—and recorded a platinum album of his own, Eat ‘Em And Smile. (Dashing Dave also released the album in Spanish, adding another honor to his lengthy list.)
For 1987 and beyond, Roth looks to continue touring, recording and working on that elusive major motion picture. Doubtless we’ll be seeing and hearing a lot from him in the years ahead.
