Since their beginning in 1981, Katrina & The Waves have been garnering attention in respected publications such as the Village Voice, Rock & Roll Confidential and Sounds, in addition to a Grammy nomination for Best New Artist in 1985. A rare combination of soul, country, pop, blues and rock ’n’ roll, the Waves’ music consisted of two Canadian LPs and sevej U.K. singles, available only through} port until the release of the debut Kan & The Waves LP on Capitol record!
