U2 THE SOMEWHAT UNMEMORABLE SMOLDER

Few musicians have taken the strong stance on violence at concerts that U2 has taken. It is not uncommon to hear Bono chastise potential brawlers, and in no uncertain terms. Now. extending this vision, U2 has instituted the following additional constrictions for the audience during performances: (1) No loud talking! Conversation must be at a normal tone and mixing metaphors is strictly forbidden. (2) Anyone clearing their throats will be ejected as a potential nuisance. (3) No loud clothes! This can be as distracting as noisy talk. And. most remarkable of all, the final rule: (4) Persons in the audience will not breathe more than 12 times during any 60-second span! "Oxygen is there for everyone to enjoy,” said one unnamed roadie, ‘and we shan't have anyone hogging it!”
