And now the truth can be told! Blackie Lawless, the leader of those pillars of humanity known as W.A.S.P., owes everything he is today to those gurus of heavy metal—John, Paul, George & Ringo! As Blackie recently told ROCK-SHOTS' own J. Kordosh: "I've taken the Len-non/McCartney approach to hard rock. My songs have got Lennon/McCartney written all over them." Naturally, we all remember the time the Fab Four simulated the murder of a woman onstage during a stunning rendition of "All My Loving"—or the time John tossed raw meat at the au-dience and Ringo vomited blood as the boys screamed "Lady Madonna."
