RUDY SARZO

December 1, 1984

The CREEM Archive presents the magazine as originally created. Digital text has been scanned from its original print format and may contain formatting quirks and inconsistencies.

What’s the use, readers—why should we cover up this tragedy anymore? Rudy Sarzo, bassist in Quiet Riot, was brutally run down by a red Corvette in Los Angeles recently! The car’s driver, Kevin DuBrow, claimed he “didn’t see him” because his hair was in his eyes. As punishment for lying, DuBrow was forced to: 1)take driving lessons, 2)buy new pants, 3)actually become Brenda Starr, and—perhaps most grisly of all—4) be seen in the streets with copies of Quiet Riot albums in his hands!
