PROFILE: These girls had a dream (as wet as it may have been), so Vanity, Susan and Brenda left their native nests for Minneapolis where they hooked up with Prince (definitely not a dull guy), wrote some songs, entered the studio with the Time, and merged the sound of girl groups, funk and pop to create one of the slurpiest LPs of the last year.
