Since Brian Jones died, people have talked about the "end" of the Stones —they still do—and of course it's never happened. There're still here. Will Bill Wyman leave because he's getting "too old"? Will Mick Jagger and Keith Richards have that one final feud, - the one that'll finish the band off? What if they gave a Stones concert and nobody came?
If it happens, it happens. Regardless, the legacy that the Rolling Stones have left since England's Newest Hitmakers is probably the strongest collection of rock 'n' roll music any band's ever recorded. No one-including the Beatles----has played so much good music as consistently, as unerringly and as spectacularly as have the Rolling Stones.
That's why you're reading this. And that's why they're the Rolling Stones.
