Since John Bonham's death last year, rock fans have been asking one major question: what will become of Led Zeppelin? And it appears, at presstirne, that the question has been answered. Zeppelin's Jimmy Page and Robert Plant have reportedly joined forces with Chris Squire and Alan White, bassist and drummer with the now-disbanded Yes.
Word on the streets has it that the four musicians have booked time in a European recording studio under the name "The XYZ Band." Whether this is a permanent grouping—which all signs seem to point to—or a temporary joining remains to be seen, though, as do the whereabouts of Zeppelin's John Paul Jones and Yes guitarist Steve Howe.
The XYZ Band in the studio, probably something else later: Yes Zeppelin? Led Yes? The superstar band of the 80's? Whatever. We'll know soon enough, and so will you...
