Not to worry, tho—Mick’s currently licking his wounds in the Amazon jungle, starring in Werner Herzog's Fitzcarraldo, co-starring in the flick are Jason Robards and Claudia Cardinals... Speaking of non-entities, John Travolta’s busy denying rumors that he’ll play Jim Morrison in the biopic of the great singer. Certainly producer Aaron Russo can do much better than that!

The ever unpredictable Roger Corman has set aside seven million clams for his next project titled Shopping Center. Even stranger, the Doobie Brothers are starring in it. Watch this space for further developments...

Heaven’s Gate, the controversial flop thus far, has been pared down to two hours, 15 minutes from the original almost four hours. When it’ll be available for public viewing is another matter, of course...
