Joe shakes his head in disgust, something he’s been doing quite a bit of. “It just goes to show ya, ya know?” he says.

“I’d just like to say this: America, how is it we make twenty-nine brilliant records and you won’t give us adrop of airplay—and we make one shitty one and you lap it up. How is it? Tell me ...”
