NANCY WILSON

December 1, 1978

The CREEM Archive presents the magazine as originally created. Digital text has been scanned from its original print format and may contain formatting quirks and inconsistencies.

Here we have one of the clever and scrumptios Wilson sisters; Nancy to be exact, demonstrating ancient Chinese/Canadian art of platinum record conversion. Step 1: Obtain frame and driveshaft of discarded Toyota. Step 2: Spend 20 years silkscreening white cloth and place on a chicken-wire mold to resemble classic 1956 Thunderbird. Step 3: Melt down all platinum records you can get your greedy hands on for trim. Step 4; Assemble on roadside and block "Made In Quebec" sticker from photographer's view. Great Chinese joke, huh? Let Nancy build one for you—at least it'll keep her out of the studio.
