ACE FREHLEY

September 1, 1978

The CREEM Archive presents the magazine as originally created. Digital text has been scanned from its original print format and may contain formatting quirks and inconsistencies.

By day, this man wears platform shoes and associates with Gene Simmons. But at night, Ace Frehley becomes MAX YENTA, hip deejay for Radio Tet Aviv, 1600 on your dial (for you—1595!). Ace/Max sprung for pedals specially adapted to his space boots for his Cadillac Seville. Why didn't he pop for real wire wheels? Too uh— flashy for the 'burbs, huh Max? No, the "I Brake For Hallucinations And Astral Projections" bumper sticker was a dead giveaway. This is Mom's car! Ace's moped is over in the geranium bushes. How about living dangerously and taking the training wheels off?
