PETER—“Being in Kiss means to me that I’ve made it. I'm a star Playing the Garden was something! And I like to do things right, the way I like to see a rock band put on a show, where you don’t come out and set up your drums, but you let a roadie do it. I don't think stars should be setting up their own equipment, that’s not what I want to see from the audience.

ACE—“I’m here because I always wanted to be a star and always knew I would be one Plus being a star allows me to buy luxuries I couldn’t afford before: jewelry, nicer clothes, lots of guitars If it wasn't for the fact that I got into music, I d probably be hanging out on street corners.’”

GENE—“I’m doing this because when I was going to rock shows, / would have liked to have seen someone like us! I didn’t want to pay my five dollars or my seven dollars and see a bunch of guys up there in flannel shirts, in street clothes! I wanted to see a show! For myself, I just love to have everybody looking at me, screaming, shouting for me. Gene Simmons!”

PAUL—“I like it. I like to give to an audience and have them give back to me. Being in Kiss is great! It’s the only place I could get this. And Kiss is the kind of show I would have gone to see.”
