DAVID BYRON

Now this is what we definitely call class —David Byron, recently given the boot by Uriah Heep, standing proudly in front of his Rolls Royce. Sure, Byron’s future in rock is relatively secure—he’ll probably cut a solo album with the members of the London Symphony Orchestra or call Eno to produce sessions with Eddie and the Hot Rods or something equally standard. Or maybe he'll form his own group . .. let's see, Mick Taylor, Phil May, Ian McLagen, and Carmen Appice. That sounds like a nice lineup, doesn't it? Anyway, no matter what direction his career takes . . . he'll sure be ridin' to the unemployment office in style.
