There are many equipment case manufacturers around the country. Some big, some small, some good, some tall, But there is one company that stands out from the rest. Out in the sprawling suburbs of Los Angeles deep in the town of Monrovia resides the Anvil Case Co. Larry Valias, one of the principles of the company, has definitely made a dent in the music business, which is something the music business has not been able to do with his cases.

They are composed of super tough construction to exact specifications. Anyil works with manufacturers, dealers and musicians, providing them with the cases to tote that precious cargo—musical instruments and related equipment. Many cases are custom designed to special specifications; others are made up to manufacturers specifications and are readily available for purchase. Anvil makes cases for everything from guitars to grand pianos..

The, cases are constructed of plywood covered with a special resilient scratch-proof material Which comes in a variety of colors. Angled and edged in aluminum, the cases are riveted together for strength and durability. For the heavier pieces of equipment, wheels are attached for super mobility. Each case has heavy duty handles, and latches that refuse to bust free no matter how much strain is applied. The cases can be easily locked for security. Additionally, to protect *he equipment internally, one inch of foam padding lines the case making for a form fit,, as well as reducing any shock hazards.

In case this case is starting to sound like a hype, well, it is. There are many cases on the market, with some of the features described herein, but none of the other manufacturers have applied such a high degree of technology to knowledge of the musicians’ wants and needs.

The best testimony to Anvil Cases superiority is the use and professional acceptance they have garnished since their beginnings in “the business.” Names like the Beach Boys, Chicago, Alice 1 Cooper, George Harrison, Carpenters, John Mayall, ' Average White Band, Stevie Wonder and Linda Ronstadt all use Anvil’s services. Equipment makers like ARP, Acoustic/Rhodes, and Sunn all do as well. But Anvil is hardly limited to rock and roll; they’ve even completely outfitted symphony orchestras for the road.

Musicians around the world safely cart their equipment around in Anvil Cases. It is no wonderthat the sticker Anvil adheres to each case they build says? “FLY ANVIL CASES.” they also make a virtually indestructible attache case of the same material. In addition to the heavy duty cases, Anvil manufactures a fiber case offering lightweight protection for local traveling for local groups or studio musicians.
