Frankenstein is here to stay... for a while. Horror shows are making a comeback. Why shouldn’t someone else rake in some of the loot that is making The Exorcist’s money belt swell. Paul Morrissey, who has long made films for Andy Warhol (Flesh, Heat, Trash), is currently making horror films in Italy. His first two are tagged: Blood for Dracula and Flesh for Frankenstein (starring Joe D’Allesandro). Paul is a little worried how his interpretation of the timeworn tales will be taken. You see, he allowed Dracula to move around in the daylight, something no classic vampire would do for fear of disintegration. No, Paul wasn’t just being avant-garde, he just had enough time for night shots, so it was necessary to alter the story. .. Another version of Dr. Frank will be made by Twentieth Centruy Fox, Young Frankenstein. The lead will be played by Peter Boyle with Marty Feldman and Cloris Leachman coscarring. . .
