1972 Creem Rock 'n' Roll Poll
1972 ... Really Blew Rock'n'roll doesn't have any awards programs, primarily because it is theoretically a part of the music business, which gives away Grammies to the best middle-of-the-road artists every year. We think it's about time that changed.

1972 Creem Rock 'n' Roll Poll
1972 ... Really Blew
Rock'n'roll doesn't have any awards programs, primarily because it is theoretically a part of the music business, which gives away Grammies to the best middle-of-the-road artists every year. We think it's about time that changed.
Thus, the CREEM Readers Poll, 1972. Naturally, we had to wait til 1973 to do it. The rules are simple: just send your list of answers to the non-questions posed below to CREEM, Box 202, Walled Lake, Ml. 48088, attention: Reader Polls, before March 15. We'll publish the results as soon as we can compile them.
Requirements: all albums have to have been released in calendar 1972 — from January 1 to December 31. If you're in doubt, try anyway, and you might sneak it by, but we will be watching for dates, so don't try to sneak Sticky Fingers or Paranoid by us.
Now, dement yourself into oblivion ...
CUT ALONG THIS LINE (so the page in the back won't fail out) AND MAIL TO: CREEM READER POLL, P.O. BOX 202, WALLED LAKE, MICHIGAN 48088
