EVERYTHING YOU ALWAYS WANTED TO KNOW ABOUT SEX* ... *BUT WERE AFRAID TO ASK -Everything you always found funny about sex* .. .*but were too embarrassed to laugh at.
BLUEBEARD — Lots of highlights — seven in fact, one for each wife. And youve probably seen them all on TV. In a few years, TV Guide will call it Horror but its really Comedy. Once Joey Heatherton realizes her lines are absurd, shes as good as Lucy Ball. The other women are great, especially Virna Lisi. Burton plays along. Foreign films offer good money and lovely vacation spots, after all — this one was shot in four different, scenic countries, for some reason. R.C.
BLACULA — Blacula is beautiful!
SLAUGHTERAnother black dick flick, but a real winner this time. Jim Brown gets down with an adequately bad series of slow bums, Stella Stevens takes it all off, and Rip Torn steals the show by mugging his way through as a nervous, disheveled gangster. If you can dig the idea of an underworld kingpin with a cowlick, this is the movie for you. Rip rubs out Jims dad, so Jim goes down to Rips South of the Border HQ for vengenance, steals Stella from him (he tells her, Baby, I done set you free), and brings justice down in one of the most sadistically tasty climactic offerings this season. (Even if some of the tropical exteriors do look like they were shot in Burbank.) Lotsa funny right-on dialog, too. L.B.
SUPERFLY — Hey, l liked this movie! Honest. It wasnt as good as I expected it to be (or as good as Putney Swope either), but I dug it anyway. Ron ONeal (Priest) sure kicked a lot of ass. He got quite a bit, too. In fact, ass abounds in this movie. Over all, I rate this among the new wave of Black grade B movies so:
1. Sweet Sweet Back
2. Shaft
3. Super-Fly
A. Buck and the Preacher (which really airtt a grade B flick)
5. Bone, Honky of Hate, The Skin Game, Shaft's Big Score, Cotton Comes to Harlem, Elvis, Slaughter and Bobo Brazil in Paris. (All tied because I havent seen them.) R.A.P.IV

Name of Movie to Watch For::: And Now For Something Completely Different
The third in the Shaft series, Shaft in Africa, will be filmed in Africa with Richard Roundtree starring. The script was written by Stirling Silliphant (Heat of the Night and The New Centurions). Shafts female counterpart, Cleopatra Jones starts shooting next month, after Warner Bros, finds the black beauty theyre looking for in Washington, Atlanta, Cleveland, Chicago and San Francisco.
The title Blackfather has been registered for future film production. The movie is about organized crime in Harlem (where else?) and most information will be drawn from documentary files (of course).
