SAN FRANCISCO — Three members of Quicksilver Messenger Service were busted on possession of dope here recently. It started when The anti-skyjacking device flashed as George Benney walked past it. His first reaction was to split but alas, that was to no avail. His bags were searched and so were those of the rest of the group.

A quantity of grass was found in guitarist David Freiberg’s bag. In Bonney’s possession were a small quantity of bullets (which made the skyjack checker flash). A small amount of weed was also found on Bonney. Jose Reyes was accosted for possession of a few pills, variety unspecified.

Bails were set at $1250 each. All were freed on that amount shortly after the bust. No trial date has been set as yet.
