Presley Flops

LOS ANGELES - Elvis Presley, formerly the king of rock ‘n’ roll has run out of gas. He did two concerts here at the Forum in November and was only a small disappointment at best. The two Saturday concerts grossed an unbelievable $330,000.00 Amerikan greenies.

Presented by Management III in association with Concerts Associates and Concerts West, the total number of persons who attended both concerts was somewhere around 38,000.

Elvis extended an invitation at the evening concert which might turn out to be a real kick in the ass. He told the people that if they’re ever in Memphis, they should stop by his house and he’ll show them his den full of gold records. He also told the large evening audience that “I have more gold records than the Beatles and Jones put together.”

It looks like Elvis is singin’ the blues because he thinks people don’t idolize him any more and maybe he’s right.
