MIAMI, Fla.(UPS) — “It sure is a revolution mother,” said the producers of the avant garde film, It’s A Revolution Mother when they found out Mayor Dermer of Miami Beach refused to let the movie be shown at Youth Expo being held at the Convention Hall.

Dermer, an advocate of censorship, denied permission to show the film without even bothering to see it. He was told it dealt with a peace march on Washington and the Palm Beach Rock Festival. In other action, he also attacked a movie called Wintersencl, a documentary about a rock festival held in Orlando last Easter. Roger Harvey, producer of Wintersend, said the Miami Beach mayor said no to the film without letting anybody explain its contents. Youth Expo director said, “the city is treating this thing like a rock festival.” Unquote.
