Based in Canada, largely due to the new 3 0% programming rule on Canadian broadcasters (30% of all product played must be made in Canada, or be by a Canadian artist) the label’s initial acts include the Canadian Lighthouse (featuring Skip Prokop, ex-Paupers, on drums, Ralph Price, of Detroit germinal band Thyme on guitar, and supposed whiz Paul Hoffert), Cynara (now out with a record on Capitol) ex-Love guitarist Bryan MacLean and Harold Logan. Reportedly the label will also obtain Catfish from Epic. Canadian distribution will be by GRT, with all acts recording in Toronto at GRT studios. No Amerikan distributor has been set, perhaps because of the contract ties in the U.S. of Lighthouse (RCA), Catfish (on Epic as already noted) and Cynara (Capitol).
