John Dillinger into A Hasty Exit
A cover and a panel from two pre-war eight-pagers. In “A Hasty Exit” John
Dillinger is trapped by Capt. Tracy of the metropolitan police, but he avoids capture when his girlfriends force their affections on the detective. The single panel is from a Popeye story. As usual, Wimpy would rather eat hamburgers. Later on in the story Poveve comes to the rescue.
