Yes, indeed-dop-diddly-do the Rollfucking Stones--high energy superjamsters who played in my own home town at our very own ice hockey rink November 24th and were they good? You could say that...except, everyone already has, yes they have, they said mick jagger was an incestuous tiny tears and that boo hoo brian ain’t here no more but keith sure is good and mick taylor plays real nice, they got some pretty songs, i read in the l.a. free press that they charged way too much money and it did cost even more there than it did here which mark rudd thought was an outrage,y’know. You do,too.
A lotta really neat things happened that night cause everybody was there, even rudnick and frawley who ain’t kokaine karma no more but still good dudes, yes? Yes. and j.c. and ken kelley and barry got in and dan introduced terry reid and deday and robin was there, i sat right by pete andrews and scott richard woulda been right there too cept he went up front and now he has this real cool tape of the whole thing that ends right in the middle of midnight rambler, i seen iggy later at the party where 800 people showed up at the garwood mansion on this island but they wouldn’t open up the pool and the people were pretty jive but it was the best party i been to since high school, i can tell you that, and at the stones party deday and i ate all this reefer cause they said we was gonna get busted.
bob said he seen all these weathermen no doubt he really did cause cheryl said they was gonna kick ass in street fighting man but no they only threw out a leaflet a really good one, join the americong...yeah, right up. down on the stage mike quatro walked and boy, they sure didn’t like him up there in the balkony. ununh no no no no no mike says the more money you got the freer you are but i couldn’t stand to be free myself not if it meant people puked when they heard my name, nay nay any way b.b. king played a set i thought it was bill cosby except he had a guitar and every once in a while he played it and sometimes he sang but mostly he talked and talked and talked and talked and talked. umhmm...the great b.b. king who ain’t so great when he’s with the rolling stones who are indeed the greatest in the world but you already know that because bob christgau and jon landau and greil marcus and langdon winner and jann wenner and even howard smith they all think so and even michael lydon of the times who traveled with them with the stones mick jagger and his backup band i was gonna say but who
ca.'es they created more chaos th ever could and as peter werbe said first time i met him two years ago indeed i too revel in chaos and r jagger may be gay, fag, qi bihomoheterosexual but he s bettern you can or even better than one else you or i ever knew and k plays guitar real good too and Charlie he’s just up there and he c wait to get back home to merry ol see his wife kiddies and Charlie pa records and goddamn hows c nobody ever saw his book? bee Charlie parker really is dead but li something what mick jagger musl now you know, if mick was a sf junkie sax player indeed indeed mic incredible fantastic super good and yes yes high high high HIGH Hi ENERGY.
right now i wish john Sinclair coi been there cause he understands bettern me y’know. but then you all understand the stones cause they’re right there in the flesh and in some weird way they’re in your flesh and after all' isn’t that far out, yes umhmmm. Satisfaction is truly the greatest song ever and no one should ever even try to do it but them cause even Otis and Aretha didn’t do it so good as them and let me assure you that live it is dangerous and there is indeed a good chance that your mind might snap too and then you not understand crosby stills nash young and pennywhistle so good but tomorrow maybe we’ll recover and the rolling stones are back and they are the greatest band in the world and they really are the greatest they really are and they are back, the rolling stones are back and they really are the greatest goddamn band in the land...no shit.
