So much has gone down about the Woodstock Pop-Rock-Art fete that people are wondering if it is happening at all and if it is, how do you find it. Well, here is the rap as of press time. The “Ultimate Pop Festival” was originally scheduled for Woodstock, New York. The promoters had advertised a 500 acre site but it turned out that no such site was available in Woodstock. They then headed 40 miles north to Wallkill and secured 200 undeveloped acres called Mills Industrial Park. Wallkill (8,000 population) freaked. All this time, promoters had committed themselves to over S750.000 front money and had sold over S300,000 worth of tickets. It was decided that even though legal action could be taken against Wallkill. the site should be moved again. Many places called Festival offices offering locations for the fair. Of these offers. White Lake, in Bethel,

New York. (Sullivan County) 98 miles from New York City, was chosen. The site is supposed to spread over 600 acres of virgin land. The Town Board and people are anxious to cash in and things seem to be full-on once again.
