Covered and curtained, the Litter transports those that are waiting. One of the characteristics of an audience is expectation and the Litter gives birth to a forwarding sound with an intended destination in mind.

Scott Doneen, manager of the Litter, explained in an interview at Silverbell last Saturday night, “Detroit’s MC-5 are into a violence thing. Needless to say, we agree that there is a revolution taking place but like we feel people are basically good. In our music like we’re saying yeah man you’re good-but listen; you’re doing something wrong.”.

The Litter sound is violent—like blood and guts and they ram it down your throat; but their lyrics are gentle and directing. Jim Hane, bass player, for himself and the Litter said he wanted music to make people respond to suppressed feelings and then get off their dead asses and do something with a common end in mind.

The Litter is Rocky Nelina, lead; Dan Ranalddi, rhythm; James Kane, bass;Tom Murrary, drums;and Mark Gallagher, r vocal; / Scott Doneen, manager.

; Each one of them performs like he is standing alone; somewhere they all . meet ih an intersection of power.

The Litter are now in Detroit recording their first album at GM Studios; tentatively to be called Sun Stagnation. Together, the Litter feel stagnation is the most important thing to understand and overcome. Rocky added, “It is simply a matter of extending what you believe and relating it into what you do. Instead of just existing in dreams, realize the reality of yopr dreams. You are the reality and what you do and achieve is a projection of this.”

The Litter have been together for two months and have an , extraordinary sound and feeling and they must have had a beautiful dream.
