Are Mick Jagger, Daryl Hall & Dave Stewart Ruthless People??

Hopefully, you’ve heard the title track from the film Ruthless People: it’s a humdinger, with Mick Jagger doing some of his best singing in years.

Perhaps you didn’t know that the song was born under some very unusual circumstances. For one thing, the song was co-written and co-produced by three of the biggest stars in the business: Daryl Hall, Dave Stewart of the Eufythmics and Jagger himself. Talk about a super session!

Daryl Hall explains further for ROCK-SHOTS: “Dave Stewart and I went down to Dave’s basement in London and wrote the melody in half an hour. Then Mick came down. We found we had a common sense of humor. We all jumped around, and Mick’s yowls and yips turned into an amazing lyric.”

Ah, these zany super-stars— seems like everything they touch turns to gold, doesn’t it? In any case, here’s some photographic evidence of this historic gettogether...we’ve gotta admit, it looks as wild as Daryl said. Here’s hopin’ this trio can get together in a basement again real soon\
