he big surprise, however, is the absence of David Lee Roth—for many the heart of Van Halen, the group’s former lead singer is now out n his own, establishing a solo career, making novies and more. Replacing him is Sammy jar, a singer/guitarist with a distinguished eer in his own right. Hagar, a former member |he rock band Montrose in the ’70s, is perhaps known for his hit “I Can’t Drive 55.” Will Halen be the same? We’ll soon see.
