AS IT DEVELOPS!

Welcome, dear readers, to another jam-packed issue of ROCK-SHOTS. This month, see we’ve got a real mixture of the old and the new. We’ve got features (and pix) on some of our favorite new acts—hopefully yours, tool—like Mr. Mister, A-Ha and he Hooters. Then, we’ve honed in on some old-timers who’ve been kicking up their leels lately—chart-toppers like Heart, Starship and ZZ Top. And, naturally, perenlial hitmakers like Wham!, Bryan Adams, Duran Duran, the Thompson Twins and nore are all represented fairly in this issue.

I’d like to thank everyone—and there were hundreds of you—who entered our consst last issue. You're great. The winners are listed on page 22 this month—and our lext, even greater contest is on page 23. It can’t hurt to enter right away!

Finally—if enough of you are interested—I’d like to start a column in ROCK-SHOTS eaturlng you. If you’ll send us a photograph with your comments on music, our mag, r whatever, we’ll see what...uh, develops. And if you’ve had your picture taken with our favorite star, that's even better.

See you next issue
