In honor of Alice Cooper's successful de-fermentation, the generous gents at GM were more than happy to sell him an auto (once he produced proof that he was again insured, of course). But those smiles turned into worried frowns, and then catatonic shock when Coop's requested dream car was voiced'Yeah, I want the new model... the '57 Chevy Bel Air with gangster white walls and all the latest options. I had last year's model, the '56, but I figure that since the Secretary Of State gave me back my license, I should go for the best, ya know?..." It took a lot of looking and much piecing together, but at long last the guys at Mel's New & Used A-l Condition Car Company filled the order, leaving Alice with one hot tip for his next set of wheels: "Keep an eye out for the '59 Buick line.

They're supposed to be real hot.
